Attorney Kevin Lonergan Accepted Into the American Board of Trial Advocates Attorney Kevin Lonergan of the Herrling Clark Law Firm Ltd. was recently accepted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Kevin is the past-President of the Herrling Clark Law Firm in Appleton, Wisc.

The ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges. ABOTA and its members are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. ABOTA is an invitation-only organization. Members must have at least five years of active experience as trial lawyers, and must have tried at least 10 civil jury trials to conclusion and possess additional litigation experience. Members must also exhibit the virtues of civility, integrity and professionalism by following the ABOTA’s Code of Professionalism and Principles of Civility.

Kevin has been named to the Super Lawyers list of the top 50 lawyers in the state of Wisconsin on multiple occasions. In 2015, he had the distinct honor of being named Wisconsin’s “Trial Lawyer of the Year” by the Wisconsin Association for Justice. Kevin is a Wisconsin Law Foundation “Fellow,” an honor bestowed on only 2.5 percent of all practicing lawyers.

Attorney Adam Bernander Joins Herrling Clark Law FirmAttorney Adam D. Bernander recently joined the Herrling Clark Law Firm in Appleton, Wisc. Adam joins the Firm’s family law practice, focusing on divorce cases, maintenance and child support claims, property division disputes, and issues involving child custody and placement. Bernander has more than 14 years of experience that will benefit individuals facing divorce, separation, or familial matters.

A Fox Valley native, Bernander grew up in Green Bay, Wisc. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School, where he graduated with honors. Upon graduation, he served as a law clerk to judges in the Brown and Outagamie County Circuit Courts and later took a position with the Brown County Child Support Agency as a staff attorney before being promoted to Supervising Attorney.

Attorney Robert B. Loomis Becomes PresidentAttorney Robert B. Loomis became President of Herrling Clark Law Firm Ltd. on July 1. He succeeds Kevin Lonergan who served as President for the past four and a half years.

Robert B. Loomis is a senior shareholder with the Herrling Clark Law Firm Ltd. His legal concentration is in the areas of divorce, post-divorce, and family law. Robert is certified as a family law trial advocacy specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has also been consistently named to the Super Lawyer list, which places him in the top 5 percent of all attorneys in Wisconsin.

In addition, Robert practices as a family law mediator who has successfully mediated many complex, high-stake family law cases. He completed the comprehensive Family Law Mediation program with the University of Wisconsin – Madison Division of Continuing Studies.

The National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) announced that Michael S. Siddall of Herrling Clark Law Firm, Ltd. has successfully achieved recertification as a civil trial advocate.
