A Green Bay woman recently suffered serious injuries when her car was struck by an eighteen wheeler attempting to turn around after driving the wrong way down the highway. The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 10/45 interchange. The semi-truck driver was driving southbound on U.S. 45 when he took the wrong ramp.
According to the police, the woman was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The semi-truck driver was not injured in the accident, but he received two traffic citations as a result of the crash. The accident closed down eastbound U.S. 10 for more than six hours while rescue and cleanup crews worked at the scene.
